Take Care When Using Salactol Paint

Keep away from the eyes and mucous membranes. The gel should be applied carefully to the wart, verruca, corn or callus only, to avoid possible irritation of surrounding normal skin.

Some mild, transient irritation may be expected, but in cases of more severe or persistent pain/irritation, the treatment should be suspended and/or discontinued.

Extremely flammable.

Avoid spillage. Avoid inhaling vapour. Replace cap tightly after use.

When NOT To Use Salactol Wart Paint

Not to be used on or near the face, intertriginous or anogenital regions or by diabetics or individuals with impaired peripheral blood circulation.

Not to be used on moles, birthmarks, hairy warts or on any other skin lesions for which Salactol is not indicated.

Not to be used in cases of sensitivity to any of the ingredients.

KEEP ALL MEDICINES OUT OF THE EACH OF CHILDREN.

How to Use

Use once daily, usually at night.
Soak the affected site in warm water for a few minutes then pat dry.
Gently rub the surface of the wart, verruca, corn or callus with a pumice stone or manicure emery board to remove any hard skin.
Carefully apply a few drops of Salactol to the lesion and allow each drop to dry before applying the next one.
Only apply Salactol to the affected area. Take care to protect the surrounding skin
Plantar warts should be covered with an adhesive plaster. Leave for 24 hours. Repeat the procedure daily, after first removing any plaster

Children should be treated under the supervision of an adult. Directions For Use Soak the wart in warm water for 5 minutes prior to application. Dry gently using a towel that will not be used by anyone else to avoid contamination. Gently file the wart with an emery board or pumice stone to remove hard skin. Carefully apply the solution to the wart. Be careful not to touch the surrounding healthy skin. Allow to dry thoroughly before covering with a plaster. Continue treatment until either the wart has cleared completely and normal skin ridge lines can be seen, or the wart has been treated for 12 weeks. How to Use Otrivine Antistin Drops Adults and children over 12 years: 1 or 2 drops instilled 2 - 3 times a day. Children:Otrivine-Antistin is not recommended for use in children younger than 12 years of age. Elderly: One drop instilled 2 to 3 times a day. Otrivine Antistin Eye Drops should not be used for more than seven consecutive days. The dispenser remains sterile until the original closure is broken. Avoid allowing the tip of the dispensing container to contact the eye or surrounding structures as this may contaminate the solution. Precautions and Warnings For Use Like other topically applied ophthalmic drugs, Otrivine-Antistin may be absorbed systemically and occasionally cause systemic sympathomimetic effects such as hypertension, nervousness, nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, palpitation, tachycardia, and arrhythmia. Otrivine-Antistin should be used with caution in elderly patients with severe cardiovascular disease, including arrhythmia, poorly controlled hypertension, or diabetes. Use with caution in the presence of hypertension, cardiac irregularities, hyperthyroidism diabetes mellitus or phaeochromocytomas. Otrivine-Antistin should also be used with caution in patients with conditions causing urinary retention such as prostatic hypertrophy and should also be used in caution in patients who are currently receiving other sympathomimetic drugs Not suitable for patients suffering from dry eyes without first seeking medical advice. Rebound hyperaemia may follow prolonged frequent use. Otrivine-Antistin should not be used without supervision over a long period of time. If the symptoms do not improve after 2 days, medical advice should be sought to rule out the possibility of a bacterial infection. Inflammation arising from infection should receive appropriate anti-bacterial therapy. Eye drops are not for injection. A triple action formulation with: Lubricating and moisturising sodium hyaluronate To enhance hydration, soothe associated irritation and reduce risk of dry eyes. Liposomes In conjunction with the lubricant significantly improves and maintains the tear film and helps prevent moisturise loss. A very gentle mist application which after blinking, migrates onto the eyes to relieve dry eyes. Murine refresh and soothe is also: Pocket friendly yet contains over 300 sprays, Alcohol free.
