Main Theraputic Properties: Antibacterial, Antifungal, Anti-infectious, Immune tonic, Antiviral, Analgesic. Contraindications: Non toxic and non irritant in prescribed doses. Chakra: Throat. Chinese Element: Metal (& Fire). Tee Tree is a small tree that grows up to 7 meters in height. Try adding 25 drops to a bottle of shower gel for a really cleansing experience. For problem skin, blend 2 drops of Tea Tree in 5ml (a teaspoon) of Jojoba oil - apply twice daily. Try a weekly steam facial using 1 drop of Tea Tree with 2 drops of Mandarin in a bowl of just-boiled water. Tea Tree may irritate some sensitive skins and, although a very small amount may be dabbed neat on spots, insect bites and cold sores, most people would not recommend this for sensitive skin types. To help keep feet fresh and healthy, try using 2 drops of Tea Tree with 2 drops of Lemon in a foot bath. To maintain healthy hair for children and adults alike, dilute 5 drops of Tea Tree, 3 drops of Geranium and 2 drops of Lavender in 20ml of Coconut oil. Oil Appearance: Colourless - pale yellow. Chakra: Heart & Brow Chinese Element: Metal Eucalyptus Citriadora is a tall evergreen tree. In common with other Eucalyptus species, Eucalyptus Citriodora (Lemon-scented Eucalyptus) is originally from Australia but is now cultivated mainly in China and Brazil. Use 8-10 drops of Eucalyptus Citriodora in a diffuser or burner to ward off insects. Alternatively, dilute 5 drops of Eucalyptus Citriodora in 10ml Absolute Aromas Coconut oil (do not use the unfractionated or solid version, apply a light coating to exposed areas of skin. Avoid the eyes and mouth.) To refresh and cleanse tired feet, add 3 drops of Eucalyptus Citriodora, 1 drop of Cypress and 2 drops of Tea Tree to a bowl of warm water or footbath/spa and soak for ten minutes. Eucalyptus Citriodora is often used as a minor ingredient in soap and detergent perfumes to add freshness and is commonly the active ingredient in natural insect repellents. Rosemary is an evergreen shrub which grows up to 180cm in height. This oil is clear in colour. There are three main types of Rosemary. The best one for aromatherapy use is the eucalyptol (cineole) chemotype, from Tunisia, Morcco and Italy. The camphor chemotype comes from Spain, and the verbenone chemotype comes from Algeria and Corsica. The latter is contra-indicated due to neuro-toxicity. We supply the finest quality Tunisian Rosemary, which is a superior product. Try adding 3 drops of Rosemary, 2 drops of Lemon and 1 drop of Peppermint to a tepid bath before an important occasion. Adding a few drops to the final rinsing water for dark hair can help keep a natural shine. To aid concentration, in the office or when studying, add 3 drops of Rosemary and two drops of Grapefruit to the water in an oil burner of diffuser. Peppermint is also a good oil for concentraion and blends well with Rosemary. Use a blend of 2 drops Rosemary, 2 Drops Black Pepper and 3 drops Lavender in 15ml of Peach Kernel, and massage into over worked muscles.	Sweet Marjoram has a sweet herbaceous aroma. It is a relaxing, warming and comforting oil particularly good for overthinking and worry. It is also great for muscular aches and pains, lethargy and digestive problems. Country of Origin: Egypt. Main Theraputic Properties: Analgesic, Antibacterial, Anticatarrhal, Antispasmodic, Calmative, Digestive stimulant, Neurotonic, Stomachic. Origanum Majorana is a strongly aromatic oil vaguely reminiscent of Nutmeg and Cardamom. Egypt is the prime source for this oil. It is important to differentiate between the various types of Marjoram, Thyme and Oregano as their names tend to get very confusing, even to experts. Sweet Marjoram Essential Oil makes up only a small proportion of the Marjoram oils produced, most of which tend to be Spanish Marjoram. Spanish Marjoram (Oregano) is a completely different species, Thymus Masticina, and the so-called Wild Marjoram is the common garden herb, Origanum Vulgare, cultivated all over the world. Sweet Marjoram (Origanum Majorana) is well known as a culinary herb cultivated in gardens all over the world. Try blending 1 drop of Sweet Majoram, 2 drops of Mandarin and 3 drops of Lavender in a teaspoon of Peach Kernel oil and add to a warm bath before bedtime. Blend 1 drop each of Sweet Marjoram, Rosemary and Cypress in 10ml of Sweet Almond oil and use as an after-sport massage oil.
