| Almost all creams made to help with blemish-prone skin use Benzoyl Peroxide bleach. This is why hair will bleach to an orange colour when in contact with most blemish creams. Bleaches are cheap, but not the first choice in keeping skin looking young and healthy.
There can be a number of causes of blemishes, including sebum (skin's oil) becoming rancid, as well as bacteria on the skin causing pores to become infected. This is why an effective cleansing cream that targets both using natural ingredients is so much better than using bleach, in our opinion.
Thatās why we set out to find a solution that was effective and good for the skin. We decided to take a different approach and create a cleansing cream that also works as a moisturiser. Note: These are big bars of Milk Soap (130g) so they last longer. Some people with smaller hands or children may find it easier if the bar is cut into two pieces.

Ingredient Description Caprae Lac (Goats Milk) A very popular milk in traditional soap making. Great for people with irritable skin. Sodium Olivate (Saponified Olive Oil) Wonderfully healthy for the skin. So many benefits, it might be best to Google "Olive Oil Skin" instead. Sodium Cocoate (Saponifed Coconut Oil) We used coconut oil as a stabiliser, it also helps to moisturise the skin Sodium Sunflowerate (Saponifed Sunflower Oil) Sunflower Oil that has been saponified. Sunflower Oil is rich in vitamins A, D, especially vitamin E and essential fatty acids. Sunflower oil has a light texture making it very comfortable on babiesā skin. Sodium Cocoa Butterate A cream coloured fatty butter extracted from Cocoa Beans. Sometimes called the āultimateā moisturiser, it is used to āsuperfatā our milk soaps. This means that as you wash, some oils are left behind which is why our milk soaps have got their legendary following. Glycerin When making soap via āCold Processā which is how we do it, natural glycerine is one of the bi-products. It is helpful to soften the skin. Fragrant Oil (Phthlate Free) We used to use various Essential Oils in our Milky Shampoo, Conditioner and Milk Wash. EOās are great if we could talk to each customer and check for allergies. Due to the occasional reaction to EOās, we removed them. We want to sooth people scalps and even a very small number of reactions to EOās was distressing for us. But people still want their hair to smell nice. So we worked with another company to develop phthalate free fragrant oil (phthalates are the things in fragrances that a lot of people donāt like) and since then the response has been great.

| The Nourishing Deep Pore Oil Cleanser is a way of cleansing the skin using oils and massage. Oil to cleanse the skin? It sounds counter-intuitive but oils can dissolve hardened oil that can get stuck in your pores, and also help remove other impurities such as built up dirt, sweat and makeup. The massage part helps the oil get deeper in your pores to do its work, and who doesn't love a good massage?
This can be particularly helpful to those suffering from blemishes, or for removing heavy makeup and/or sunscreen. We made this using a mixture of drawing and moisturising oils. The drawing oils help pull out and dissolve old oils, and the moisturising oils, such as Jojoba Oil, are high in antioxidants and help keep skin hydrated and soft. This means you can cleanse and moisturise your skin at the same time! Howās that for multi-tasking?
Cleansing with oil is particularly beneficial because it doesn't strip the skin of its natural oils, which can ultimately lead to an overproduction of more oil and lead to further breakouts. | The problem we find with silicone is that it can build up on the hair over time, making it feel heavy and limp. This usually results in a need for a different type of shampoo to get rid of the buildup caused by these types of conditioners. Instead, we wanted to make a leave-in conditioner from natural oils that wonāt build up on the hair and actually penetrate and hydrate the hair instead of just making it feel nice for a while. Using natural ingredients is not only better for your hair and scalp, itās also much better for the environment. Ever think about what happens to your wash products after they go down the drain? Silicones and other synthetic ingredients donāt break down into their natural component easily in the water system.
Our Protein Shot Leave-In Conditioner was made to complement our Cream Conditioner after we had so many super-fan customers asking for us for it. Most conditioners are made using silicone-based ingredients (usually big words that end with ācone) that coat the hair in something slippery, making it feel silky and smooth. They do a great job of making the hair feel hydrated and easy to detangle.
