We’ve carefully designed a non-abrasive, facial exfoliant to help you buff away the day and turn over a new leaf to start fresh. We believe that dual exfoliation (meaning organic acid and non-scratchy physical particles) is the most effective way to gently exfoliate. Making soothing and gentle products is always our priority, so we made this suitable for daily use, for all skin types.
Our unique formula contains a very calculated percentage (1.5%) of Salicylic Acid (BHA) which are plant-derived organic acids. These organic acids are attracted to oil and exfoliate deep into the pores. It’s the best thing for a deep cleanse and to address impurities that already exist.
We’ve also used Rice Bran powder to physically exfoliate as it has a very delicate physical structure and contains antioxidant-rich, moisturising proteins. The combination of these two magnificent exfoliating components will leave your skin noticeably fresh, glowing and soft. But wait, there’s more! We’ve also added Bentonite Clay to draw out impurities and leave your skin feeling fresh, and Marshmallow Root to soothe and calm skin. | Silky, daily moisturizer helps to brighten the skin with lasting results. | Almost all creams made to help with blemish-prone skin use Benzoyl Peroxide bleach. This is why hair will bleach to an orange colour when in contact with most blemish creams. Bleaches are cheap, but not the first choice in keeping skin looking young and healthy.
There can be a number of causes of blemishes, including sebum (skin's oil) becoming rancid, as well as bacteria on the skin causing pores to become infected. This is why an effective cleansing cream that targets both using natural ingredients is so much better than using bleach, in our opinion.
That’s why we set out to find a solution that was effective and good for the skin. We decided to take a different approach and create a cleansing cream that also works as a moisturiser. It may cost a few dollars more for us to make this cream than a bleach-based one, but healthy skin is priceless. | The Nourishing Deep Pore Oil Cleanser is a way of cleansing the skin using oils and massage. Oil to cleanse the skin? It sounds counter-intuitive but oils can dissolve hardened oil that can get stuck in your pores, and also help remove other impurities such as built up dirt, sweat and makeup. The massage part helps the oil get deeper in your pores to do its work, and who doesn't love a good massage?
This can be particularly helpful to those suffering from blemishes, or for removing heavy makeup and/or sunscreen. We made this using a mixture of drawing and moisturising oils. The drawing oils help pull out and dissolve old oils, and the moisturising oils, such as Jojoba Oil, are high in antioxidants and help keep skin hydrated and soft. This means you can cleanse and moisturise your skin at the same time! How’s that for multi-tasking?
Cleansing with oil is particularly beneficial because it doesn't strip the skin of its natural oils, which can ultimately lead to an overproduction of more oil and lead to further breakouts. | The face is what we present to the world, so we like to put our best foot forward. This natural cleanser is made with a combination of 4 coconut and glucose based cleansers, which makes it more gentle than using just 1. We steer clear of harsh, petroleum-based ingredients like SLS that may foam well but can be very irritating and drying to the skin. Gentle enough to be used every day, morning and night, for all skin types. Due to its creamy texture, it doubles as a light shaving cream, for men and women. |
