Opticrom Allergy (sodium cromoglicate) is used for the relief and treatment of eye allergies including:
- Short and long term allergic conjunctivitis
- More severe cases of conjunctivitis (vernal kerato conjunctivitis).
Who can use Opticrom Allergy?
Adults and children.
Opticrom Allergy Eye Drops is a soothing relief for itchy, allery eyes.
How to take Opticrom Allergy?
One or two drops in each eye four times a day, or as directed by your doctor.
If you are pregnant
Opticrom should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless recommended by your doctor.
Driving and using machinery
You may have blurred eyesight straight after using this medicine. If this happens, do not drive or use any tools or machines until you can see clearly.
Common side effects
- Stinging or burning in your eyes or blurring of eyesight. This should only last for a short time and occurs immediately after using the eye drops
- Mild eye irritation

Exputex contains the active ingredient carbocisteine which breaks down mucus.
Who can use?
This product can be used by adults and children over 2 years of age.
How to use?
- Children 2 – 5 years give one 2.5ml spoonful 2 to 3 times daily.
- Children 6 – 12 years give one 5ml spoonful 2 to 3 times daily.
- Adults and children over 12 years initially take 15ml (three 5ml spoonful’s) three times a day, reducing to 10ml (two 5ml spoonful’s) three times daily when the satisfacory response is obtained.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Exputex should not be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless directed by your doctor.
Driving or using machinery.
Exputex does not normally produce any effects on ability or drive or use machinery.

As with all medicines, Exputex Oral Solution can have side effects. If you experience any serious side effects, please contact your doctor right away.

Each 5ml of Exputex Oral Solution contains 250mg of Carbocisteine | Glutarol Wart & Verruca Treatment is designed to treat warts and verrucas. It works by killing the virus that causes warts or verrucaS with a paint solution. It dries the wart/verruca and surrounding skin, so helping to prevent the infection from spreading.
Warts and Verrucas are small excessive growths of skin caused by a type of virus and if left untreated, the virus will spread. It can also be transferred from one person to another.
How to Use
- Suitable to use by adults, children and the elderly.
- Only use Glutarol for warts/verrucas that your doctor or pharmacist has recommended it.
Repeat the below steps twice daily until the wart or verruca disappears:
STEP 1- Soak the affected area in hot, soapy water for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 2- Dry the area thoroughly with your own towel (this will help stop the infection from spreading to other people)
STEP 3- Gently rub away any loose hard skin from the surface of the wart or verruca with an emery board or a piece of pumice stone.
STEP 4- Unscrew the cap of the bottle, and using the applicator attached to the inside of the cap, carefully apply two coats of the paint to the top of the wart or verruca only.
The length of the treatment varies depending on the size and resistance of the wart or verruca. Some warts/verrucas can require up to 12 weeks of treatment.
