Many commercial brands of goat's milk soap use powdered milk. The best ones use fresh goats milk. Goats milk soap is especially suited to those people with very sensitive skin. We think that it is the mildest way to remove old oil and grease from the skin.
Note: These are big bars of Milk Soap (130g) so they last longer. Some people with smaller hands or children may find it easier if the bar is cut into two pieces.

Caprae Lac (Goats Milk), Sodium Olivate (Saponified Olive Oil), Sodium Cocoate (Saponifed Coconut Oil), Sodium Sunflowerate (Saponifed Sunflower Oil), Sodium Cocoa Butterate, Glycerin, Fragrant Oil (Phthlate Free). Ingredient Description Caprae Lac (Goats Milk) A very popular milk in traditional soap making. Great for people with irritable skin. Sodium Olivate (Saponified Olive Oil) Wonderfully healthy for the skin. So many benefits, it might be best to Google "Olive Oil Skin" instead. Sodium Cocoate (Saponifed Coconut Oil) We used coconut oil as a stabiliser, it also helps to moisturise the skin Sodium Sunflowerate (Saponifed Sunflower Oil) Sunflower Oil that has been saponified. Sunflower Oil is rich in vitamins A, D, especially vitamin E and essential fatty acids. Sunflower oil has a light texture making it very comfortable on babies’ skin. Sodium Cocoa Butterate A cream coloured fatty butter extracted from Cocoa Beans. Sometimes called the “ultimate” moisturiser, it is used to ‘superfat’ our milk soaps. This means that as you wash, some oils are left behind which is why our milk soaps have got their legendary following. Glycerin When making soap via “Cold Process” which is how we do it, natural glycerine is one of the bi-products. It is helpful to soften the skin. Fragrant Oil (Phthlate Free) We used to use various Essential Oils in our Milky Shampoo, Conditioner and Milk Wash. EO’s are great if we could talk to each customer and check for allergies. Due to the occasional reaction to EO’s, we removed them. We want to sooth people scalps and even a very small number of reactions to EO’s was distressing for us. But people still want their hair to smell nice. So we worked with another company to develop phthalate free fragrant oil (phthalates are the things in fragrances that a lot of people don’t like) and since then the response has been great.

Aqua (H₂O’s Fancy Name), Zinc Oxide (For Sun Protection), Coco Caprylate (Coconut-Based Conditioner), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Sorbitan Olivate (Olive-Based Emulsifier), Glycerin (Sugar Alcohol), Lecithin (Soy), Cera Alba (Beeswax), Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxyystearate (Emulsifier), Galactoarabinan (Emulsifier), Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate (Emulsifier), Polyhydroxystearic Acid (Emulsifier), 1,2-Hexanediol (Moisturiser), Caprylyl Glycol (Skin Conditioner), Tropolone (Skin Soother), Cetyl Phosphate (Emulsifier), Sodium Chloride (Salt), Oleic Acid (Emulsifier).
Zinc is very complicated to formulate with as Zinc naturally "clumps", so ingredients have to be used to make sure this doesn’t happen and it’s able to be spread evenly. So although we typically like to avoid using anything that we struggle to pronounce, this moisturiser and binder was by far the best way to keep the cream moist, preserved and free from bacteria – 1,2-Hexanediol (Moisturiser), Caprylyl Glycol (Skin Conditioner), Tropolone (Skin Soother), Cetyl Phosphate (Emulsifier), Sodium Chloride (Salt), Oleic Acid (Emulsifier).
| Using natural moisturising oils of Sweet Almond Oil (high in fatty acids), Raw Coconut Oil (often suggested by naturopaths on sensitive skin) and Olive Squalane which is an oil we naturally produce in our skin’s oil. Added extras such as a very concentrated Aloe (100:1), Allantoin for skin softening, Milk Protein for skin elasticity and natural Vitamin E.
Moogoo don’t use Phenoxyethanol, Parabens, Petrolatum and Paraffin Oil, Silicones, PEG’s and many more ingredients that can help make a cream less expensive and feel smoother.
