Sandalwood has become extremely difficult to get hold of due to Indian government controls.

The oil is a by-product of the use of Sandalwood for figurines and furniture, which is very popular, especially in the Far East.

Sandalwood has long been used as a perfume by both men and women and is popularly used in homemade massage blends to create a sensual atmosphere.

For a wonderfully mellow massage oil, blend 3 drops of Sandalwood, 2 drops of Roman Chamomile and a drop of Frankincense in 20ml of Absolute Aromas Peach Kernel oil.

Neroli has a subtle, sweet-floral aroma. An excellent oil to use during stressful situations to calm and soothe the mind and heart. This oil comes from the blossoms (flowers) of the bitter Orange tree.
Plant Family: Rutaceae Country of Origin: Tunisia Method of Extraction: The oil is distilled from the flowers on the Orange blossom tree. Main Theraputic Properties: Antibacterial, Aphrodisiac, Calmativem, Uterine tonic. Contraindications: Non toxic and non irritant in prescribed doses. Did you know: The name of this oil came from an Italian princess who used it as her favourite perfume. Oil Appearance: Clear to Pale Yellow. Chakra: Sacral & Heart & Brow. Chinese Element: Fire (& Wood). Also known as Orange Blossom or Neroli Bigarade, this essential oil is water distilled from the flowers of the cultivated Bitter Orange tree. The Orange flowers must be distilled immediately after picking, as they decay very quickly. Tunisia is the most highly regarded producer of this exotic floral oil. This delightful oil has been carefully distilled in Tunisia with brand new, top quality equipment by skilled and experienced distillers. The difference is apparent in the quality. For a wonderfully fragrant bath when you feel that the stresses and strains of life are too much, try blending 2 drops of Neroli, 1 drop of Jasmine and 1 drop of Clary Sage, in a teaspoonful of Peach Kernel oil and add to a very warm bath. Blend 1 drop each of Neroli, Geranium and Bergamot in 10ml of Sweet Almond oil and apply to the back and shoulders as a pre-interview massage oil. When feeling delicate and vulnerable, especially after giving birth, try 2 drops of Neroli, 1 drop of Rose, and 2 of Pettigrain to a teaspoon of Jojoba, swirl the mixture into a warm bath, lie back and let the subtle aroma bathe and soothe the emotions.
Sweet Marjoram has a sweet herbaceous aroma. It is a relaxing, warming and comforting oil particularly good for overthinking and worry. It is also great for muscular aches and pains, lethargy and digestive problems.
Country of Origin: Egypt. Plant Family: Lamiaceae (Labiatae). Method of Extraction: The oil is steam distilled from the dried leaves and flowering tops. Main Theraputic Properties: Analgesic, Antibacterial, Anticatarrhal, Antispasmodic, Calmative, Digestive stimulant, Neurotonic, Stomachic. They were said to be a symbol of love and honour. Oil Appearance: Pale yellow or amber. Chakra:Heart & Solar Plexus. Chinese Element: Earth (& Fire). Origanum Majorana is a strongly aromatic oil vaguely reminiscent of Nutmeg and Cardamom. Egypt is the prime source for this oil. It is important to differentiate between the various types of Marjoram, Thyme and Oregano as their names tend to get very confusing, even to experts. Sweet Marjoram Essential Oil makes up only a small proportion of the Marjoram oils produced, most of which tend to be Spanish Marjoram. Spanish Marjoram (Oregano) is a completely different species, Thymus Masticina, and the so-called Wild Marjoram is the common garden herb, Origanum Vulgare, cultivated all over the world. Sweet Marjoram (Origanum Majorana) is well known as a culinary herb cultivated in gardens all over the world. Try blending 1 drop of Sweet Majoram, 2 drops of Mandarin and 3 drops of Lavender in a teaspoon of Peach Kernel oil and add to a warm bath before bedtime. Blend 1 drop each of Sweet Marjoram, Rosemary and Cypress in 10ml of Sweet Almond oil and use as an after-sport massage oil.

Jasmine has a rich, heady, floral aroma. It is calming and excellent for all skin types. It is also a well known aphrodisiac.

Ingredients

Jasmine Essential Oil, Light Coconut Oil.

Uses Jasmine Absolute is calming and excellent for all skin types. It is also a good oil to use during childbirth. For convenience we have diluted this essential oil to a ratio of 5% in Light Coconut Oil, it can therefore be used directly on the skin as a perfume. Alternatively, for a luxurious massage oil, blend 1 drop of Jasmine, 1 drop of Sandalwood and 3 drops of Mandarin in 10ml of Peach Kernel oil.
Country of Origin: Egypt. Plant Family: Oleaceae Method of Extraction: Alcohol extraction from the concrete made from the flowers. Main Theraputic Properties: Analgesic, Antispasmodic, Aphrodisiac, Calmative, Uterine tonic. Contraindications: Non toxic and non irritant in prescribed doses. Did you know: In India, Jasmine is referred to as 'Queen of the night' due to it's scent being stronger after sunset. Oil Appearance: Dark yellow. Chakra: Sacral & Base. Chinese Element: Fire (& Water) Jasmine Absolute is extracted by alcohol extraction from a 'concrete' made with the flowers of the plant, picked by hand, only in the evening. This process is what makes Jasmine so costly. The Jasmine we used in this product is 100% pure and natural.
A wonderful citrus aroma which uplifts, cleanses and tones. May Chang is an excellent room deodoriser and insect repellent.
Plant Family: Lauraceae. Method of Extraction: The oil is steam distilled from the pepper shaped fruits. Properties: antiseptic, non-irritant, astringent. Contraindications: May irritate the skin or mucous membrane. Do not use on sensitive or damaged skin. Oil Appearance: Pale Yellow. Oil of May Chang is a comparatively new essential oil to the West. It is steam-distilled from the pepper-shaped fruits (Cubeba) of this tropical tree. The strong lemon odour of the main constituent (Citral - 75%) dominates and hence the oil resembles Lemongrass, although it has a rounder and more fruity aroma. While the synonym Litsea Citrata is often given for May Chang, Litsea Citrata is a related species with a lower Citral content. Use 5 or 6 drops in an oil burner to ward of insects. For oily or problem skin, try adding a few drops of May Chang to skin cleansing products to boost astringent and anti-bacterial properties, (not suitable for sensitive skin).
