At times when life is challenging, Equilibrium can help to soothe and balance, and is especially helpful for women during menstruation and the menopause.

Containing wonderfuly balancing oils such as Frankincense, Vetiver and Rose, this blend is great for restoring the body’s optimal emotional balance.

Essential Oils Include: Cinnamomum Camphora (Ho) Wood Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Boswellia Carterii Oil (Frankincense), Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Oil, Rose Centifolia Flower Oil, Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil.

To Help Balance Emotions:

Dilute up to 8 drops in a carrier oil or bath oil and stir into warm bath water.

Alternatively, blend a total of 3 to 5 drops in 10ml of carrier oil to make a massage blend suitable for most adults.

For a Balancing Aroma Throughout the Day:

Place 6 drops into an Oil Burner or Aroma-Diffuser to create a pleasant, balancing atmosphere.

For a simpler solution, place a few drops onto a tissue and inhale

Country of Origin: Somalia. Plant Family: Burseraceae. Method of Extraction: The oil is distilled from the resin of the Myrrh tree. Main Theraputic Properties: Antibacterial, Anticatarrahal, Anti-inflammatory, Antispasmodic, Astringent, Calmative. Contraindications: Non toxic and non irritant in prescribed doses. Did you know: It is said no soldier of Ancient Greece went into battle without a paste of myrrh, ready for use on injuries Oil Appearance: Pale to Dark Amber. Chakra: Neri Chinese Element: Earth (& Metal). There are around 80 species of Commiphora, the resin is collected from these thorny shrubs which are up to 3 meters in height. Myrrh has acquired a reputation as a healer over the centuries and as such can be beneficial when used in inhalations to help ease winter ills. Place 1 drop each of Myrrh, Benzoin and Lavender in a bowl of boiling water. Drape a towel across your head and shoulders and inhale the vapours for a few minutes. Try blending 1 drop of Myrrh, 2 drops of Geranium and 1 drop of Peppermint in 10ml of Coconut oil to use as a massage oil on neglected feet. Myrrh is extremely viscous, and therefore more difficult to use. We use a larger dropper for this oil, but with time it may solidify. The only solution is to warm the oil gently in the hands before use, and to be patient!

Tee Tree is a small tree that grows up to 7 meters in height.

Try adding 25 drops to a bottle of shower gel for a really cleansing experience.

For problem skin, blend 2 drops of Tea Tree in 5ml (a teaspoon) of Jojoba oil - apply twice daily.

Try a weekly steam facial using 1 drop of Tea Tree with 2 drops of Mandarin in a bowl of just-boiled water. Tea Tree may irritate some sensitive skins and, although a very small amount may be dabbed neat on spots, insect bites and cold sores, most people would not recommend this for sensitive skin types.

To help keep feet fresh and healthy, try using 2 drops of Tea Tree with 2 drops of Lemon in a foot bath.

To maintain healthy hair for children and adults alike, dilute 5 drops of Tea Tree, 3 drops of Geranium and 2 drops of Lavender in 20ml of Coconut oil. Massage into the scalp and leave for as long as possible before washing out thoroughly with a mild shampoo.

Plant Family: Lamiaceae (Labiatae). Country of Origin: Tunisia Method of Extraction: The oil is steam distilled from the sprigs. Main Theraputic Properties: Antibacterial, Anticatarrhal, Antirheumatic, Antispasmodic, Neurotonic, Expectorant. Contraindications: Do not use if pregnant or breast feeding. Do not use on children under the age of 2. Do not use on people with epilepsy or fever. Do not use at more than 2% dilution on the skin or mucous membrane areas. Did you know: This oil was used in the Middle Ages to drive away evil spirits. Oil Appearance: Clear. Chakra: Brow & Heart. Chinese Element:  Fire. Rosemary is an evergreen shrub which grows up to 180cm in height. This oil is clear in colour. There are three main types of Rosemary. The best one for aromatherapy use is the eucalyptol (cineole) chemotype, from Tunisia, Morcco and Italy. The camphor chemotype comes from Spain, and the verbenone chemotype comes from Algeria and Corsica. The latter is contra-indicated due to neuro-toxicity. We supply the finest quality Tunisian Rosemary, which is a superior product. Try adding 3 drops of Rosemary, 2 drops of Lemon and 1 drop of Peppermint to a tepid bath before an important occasion. Adding a few drops to the final rinsing water for dark hair can help keep a natural shine. To aid concentration, in the office or when studying, add 3 drops of Rosemary and two drops of Grapefruit to the water in an oil burner of diffuser. Peppermint is also a good oil for concentraion and blends well with Rosemary. Use a blend of 2 drops Rosemary, 2 Drops Black Pepper and 3 drops Lavender in 15ml of Peach Kernel, and massage into over worked muscles.

Refresh aching feet by adding 1 drop each of Lime, Lemon and Geranium to a bowl of warm water and soak feet for at least five minutes. Add 1 drop each of Lime, Lavender and Neroli to the water in a new plant spray and use as a natural room spray. Oil Appearance: Pale yellow. Chakra: Solar Plexus and Sacral Chinese Element: Earth & Fire Coriander is a herb that grows up to 90cm in height. It has green leaves, small white flowers and small round fruits. It is colourless to pale yellow and cultivated all over Europe, particularly in Russia. When convalescing or generally lacking appetite, try a daily abdomen massage with 1 drop of Coriander and 2 drops of Bergamot, blended in two teaspoons of Peach Kernel oil. Always massage the abdomen in a clockwise direction. Or, try 2 drops of Coriander and 2 drops of Ginger, diluted in one teaspoon of Coconut oil and added to a warm bath to lift your spirits and ease general aches and pains.
