Apricot Kernel is a fine, moisturising carrier oil, which is readily absorbed by the skin and is particularly suited for facial massage, especially for dry, mature or delicate skin.

Apricot Kernel is derived from the kernel which contains vitamins A and C, and minerals. It suits all skin types but especially dry, mature or delicate skin and helps relieve itching, swelling, dryness and inflammation.

It is a light penetrative oil, readily absorbed by the skin and particularly suited for facial massage, try blending with Avocado, Borage or Wheatgerm oils to boost the vitamin content.

Main Theraputic Properties: Analgesic, Antibacterial, Anticatarrhal, Anti-inflammatory, Antispasmodic, Digestive stimulant, Insect repellent. Contraindications: Do not use if pregnant or breast feeding. Do not use on childern under the age of 5. Avoid using on people with epilepsy, heart disease or fever. Do not use at more than 2% dilution on the skin or mucous membrane areas. Do not apply more than 1ml per 24 hours. English peppermint (also known as Mitcham Peppermint) is used for after-dinner mints and mint liqueurs. It is a much smoother, fuller and more rounded oil than the standard product. It has an unusually high content of methylesters (giving excellent body and sweetness) and a modest content of the bitter tasting ketone, Menthone. It is often used in after-dinner mints and is popular after a bout of over-indulgence. Blend 1 drop of Peppermint with 5ml of Sweet Almond oil for a comforting tummy rub (massage in a clockwise direction). Try adding 4 drops to a bowl of warm water for a wonderfully refreshing footbath. Also a good insect repellent, use in a burner or diffuser, or add 10 drops to a plant spray filled with water -shake well and spray the room & bedding, etc. (Avoid polished wood - may cause bleaching of fabric).

The Juniper fruits are widely used for gin production. Try a vigorous massage with a blend of 2 drops of Juniperberry and 2 drops of Grapefruit in 10ml of Coconut oil. This delightful oil has been carefully distilled in Tunisia with brand new, top quality equipment by skilled and experienced distillers. The difference is apparent in the quality. For a wonderfully fragrant bath when you feel that the stresses and strains of life are too much, try blending 2 drops of Neroli, 1 drop of Jasmine and 1 drop of Clary Sage, in a teaspoonful of Peach Kernel oil and add to a very warm bath. Blend 1 drop each of Neroli, Geranium and Bergamot in 10ml of Sweet Almond oil and apply to the back and shoulders as a pre-interview massage oil. When feeling delicate and vulnerable, especially after giving birth, try 2 drops of Neroli, 1 drop of Rose, and 2 of Pettigrain to a teaspoon of Jojoba, swirl the mixture into a warm bath, lie back and let the subtle aroma bathe and soothe the emotions.
