| Buttercup Bronchostop Cough Syrup is a traditional herbal product used in the treatment of chestry, dry, tickly and irritating coughs. This non-drowsy medication contains Thyme herb dry extract and Marshmallow root syrup. You Must Be Aged Over 18 Years to Purchase This Product Who can use? This product is for use in adults and children 12 years and older. How to use? Adults and children over 12 years, 15ml every 4 hours up to 4 times a day. If required, up to a maximum of 6 doses (90ml) can be taken per day. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding. This medication should not be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor. Driving and using machines There are no known side effects which would impair your ability to drive or use machinery. Possible side effects This medication can have side-effects, like all medicines, although these are usually mild and do not affect everyone. If you experience any side-effects, please talk to your doctor. KEEP ALL MEDICINES OUT OF THE EACH OF CHILDREN. READ THE PATIENT LEAFLET BEFORE TAKING THIS MEDICATION. The syrup is sugar free and breaks down mucous to help you to breathe easier. The active ingredients in Casacol are Methoxyphenamine Hydrochloride 20mg, Guaiphenesin 100mg and Sodium Citrate 200mg per 5ml syrup. Who can use? This product can be used by adults and children over 6 years of age. How to use? Children 6 – 12 years take one 5ml spoonful 3 to 4 times daily. Adults and children over 12 years take one or two 5ml spoonfuls 3 to 4 times daily. (Maximum daily dose 20ml) You should not take this medication for more than 5 consecutive days. No more than 4 doses to be given in any 24 hour period. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Casacol should not be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless directed by your doctor.
